Project Holiday Volunteers Needed

Tuesday, December 17 - Friday, December 20

One of the best parts of the holiday season is the opportunity to give. 2013 marks the 26th year The Crisis Center has hosted Project Holiday, our annual food distribution to brighten the holidays for families in need in Johnson County.

More than 1,400 families are expected to register to receive special entrees, fresh produce, baking supplies, and more. Financial support to purchase these items and volunteer hours to help distribute them are critical.

More Than 200 Volunteer Opportunities

The Project Holiday food distribution is an enormous undertaking. Greet clients, distribute and bag food items, help families to their cars . . . even direct traffic in our parking lot!

Grab your family, co-workers, and friends to volunteer with you or sign-up for a shift and meet new people. Children volunteering must be in 7th grade or above and we require one adult per two children. Distribution dates and times are listed below, along with links to our simple, online volunteer sign-up sites.
