Help Us Avoid Buying Food Bags

With the Food Bank distributing more than 20,000 pounds of food each week, you can imagine how many bags are needed. Reusable, paper or plastic -- all help our clients take home supplemental food to help their families.

Got Extra Reusables?

Food Bank clients are so grateful when reusable shopping bags are available. Reusable bags are great for the environment and help The Crisis Center reduce our spending on plastic and paper products.

Have a reusable shopping bag "drive" at school, work, church or in your neighborhood. Or drop off your extra reusable bags at The Crisis Center.

Sew Some Up

If you are crafty, free patterns for sewing reusable shopping bags can be viewed by clicking here. Each bag should be able to hold 15 - 20 pounds of food items.

Paper or Plastic? YES!

Though we'd love to provide reusable bags for everyone, used paper and plastic bags will always be a need in the Food Bank. Donations and drives for these items are welcome as well.

Getting Them Here

All items can be dropped off at The Crisis Center's Food Bank on Mondays through Fridays between 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Enter the south parking lot and go to the brown double doors on the west end of the building.

Dropoff is also available inside our main door (with the green arch) any day between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.
