Financial Contributions

The Crisis Center of Johnson County is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization (tax ID 42-0955992) so your gifts are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. We are proud to be a United Way partner agency and are grateful for support from the Johnson County Board of Supervisors, the City of Iowa City, the University of Iowa Student Government, the City of Coralville, and FEMA. These allocations make up nearly 40% of our annual operating budget.

The remaining 60% is provided through the generosity of businesses, churches, organizations, and individuals like you. Together we are helping our neighbors in need here in Johnson County.

Is Your Donation a Gift?

A donation to The Crisis Center in lieu of a gift is a lovely gesture. We've created several downloadable cards that you can print on 8.5" by 11" paper, then fold and mail or deliver so the recipient knows how much your thoughtfulness will help our efforts! These include a birthday card, holiday card, a Project Holiday gift card, a card for a memorial gift and a card for a gift in honor of someone.
